Case Study: ArkeaBio

ArkeaBio is a global agricultural biosciences company developing a groundbreaking vaccine to reduce methane emissions from livestock—one of the most potent and overlooked sources of greenhouse gases. Despite being first in the industry to demonstrate a proof of concept, the company’s story wasn’t yet resonating beyond technical circles. There was limited public awareness of ArkeaBio as a climate leader among its diverse and distinct audiences—from farmers and food brands to policymakers and investors. Beakers & Chips partnered with ArkeaBio to develop a brand story commensurate with its global-scale vision and potential.

We began by developing a bold North Star brand platform that crystallized ArkeaBio’s mission and vision and clarified its unique role across agriculture, climate, and biotech. A new visual identity, website, and messaging architecture clarified the immense stakes of the company’s work and the unique benefits it offers to farmers, global food brands, policymakers, and climate-focused investors. We repositioned ArkeaBio as a premium, billion-dollar brand ready to operate on the world stage.

Going from design to execution, we are bringing ArkeaBio’s story to life through an integrated marketing strategy spanning messaging, digital, PR, and thought leadership. We tailor communications to each channel and audience while weaving a cohesive story across the value chain. From social content and technical datasheets to advertising and earned media, we enable ArkeaBio to share its vision and potential with key audiences on a new level.

For ArkeaBio, we commissioned a vibrant, symbolic artwork to capture the emotional and planetary significance of their methane-reducing vaccine. Designed by artist Amy Bader, the piece tells a layered story: from the roots of the climate crisis to a vision of ranchers and cattle as climate heroes, and a world where agriculture and sustainability thrive together. It’s a bold creative expression of ArkeaBio’s mission—full of optimism, personality, and detail that sparks curiosity. It serves as a visual North Star reminding every viewer why this work matters.
